Queenslander Broc Feeney has set a new Supercars record, scoring his 17th Boost Mobile Pole of the 2025 Supercars season on Friday at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
Racing begins today at the 2025 season finale, with a 100-kilometre sprint on the iconic streets of Adelaide beginning at 4:20 p.m. ACDT.
Feeney will start on pole for the critical first race of the weekend, with fellow championship contender Chaz Mostert alongside him in second.
South Australian Grand Finalist Kai Allen will start seventh, while Will Brown will start 12th after another disappointing qualifying result for the Toowoomban.

It was a dramatic end to qualifying, with Kiwi Andre Heimgartner’s Chevrolet Camaro suffering an apparent engine failure in the last corners, dropping oil on the racing line.
The oil on track spelled disaster for 2023 champion Brodie Kostecki, who was on a lap fast enough for pole but slipped on the oil and crashed in the last corner of the lap.
Cam Waters was also on for pole when he, too, locked up at the final corner, scuppering the Mildura native’s chances to start on the front row.
Waters and Kostecki, though, make up the second row of the grid, with Mostert’s teammate Ryan Wood starting fifth.
Today’s race at the bp Adelaide Grand Final begins at 4:20 p.m. ACDT.
As the top seed in the Supercars Finals, Feeney holds a 20-point advantage over Mostert at the start of play, with Brown 35 points and Allen 50 points behind Feeney.
Mega Rewards has put up a $50,000 prize to win today’s race, giving drivers added incentive to fight for the win in the concrete jungle.
Adding a further twist, rain is forecast to arrive in the afternoon. Drivers have yet to turn a lap in the wet this weekend.
