Rain has thwarted a start to racing for the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific Series Round 2 at Hampton Downs today.
The 26 driver international field were greeted with wild weather when they arrived at the South Waikato motor racing circuit forcing organisers to postpone race one until tomorrow.
The rain did clear long enough early in the afternoon for the field of Ferrari 488 Challenge cars to complete qualifying for tomorrow’s two race programme.
The first of two races gets underway at 11:10am tomorrow morning.
