Autosport’s Josh Marston and four other club members have blasted Autosport to a 7-point lead over the Ashburton Car Club after taking five of the top seven places in the exciting Rakaia Zig Zag gravel hillclimb on April 23rd.

The hard packed gravel road of around 2km was shorter than previously run event Zig Zag’s so Marston’s 1m 26.3sec time becomes the record for this new course, in a rally car. Sean Haggarty was second and David Quantock took the third step on the podium.
