Cassidy wins Japanese F3 title

Double Toyota Racing Champion Nick Cassidy has won the 2015 Japanese F3 Championship title with a perfect weekend at the Sugo circuit in Japan.

Heading into the final weekend Cassidy was tied with his Petronas Team TOM’S team-mate Kenta Yamashito on the points table. But fastest qualifier and converting this to two race wins secured the title in Cassidy’s favour.

“It’s mega!” commented Cassidy. “I’m super proud of our performance this weekend, Two poles two wins and two fastest laps. The team at TOM’S Racing has done an amazing job all year, and my full respect to ‪team-mate ‎Kenta Yamashita‬ who has pushed me all the way, a great driver and team mate.”
