Douglas re-signs with Exclusive Autosport for second USF2000 season

Exclusive Autosport is pleased to announce that they have re-signed New Zealand’s Jacob Douglas for the 2023 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship season.

In his rookie season of USF2000 competition, Douglas progressed quickly and consistently throughout the calendar posting three top-five and seven top-10 results over the final half of the season. This increasingly impressive level of performance moved him from 16th to 12th in the championship standings following the series finale in Portland. In 2023, Jacob’s focus will shift towards winning races and vying for the overall championship when he returns to the seat of the Exclusive Autosport #90 Tatuus USF-22.

“I’m super excited to announce another season with Exclusive Autosport in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship,” said Douglas. “I can’t wait to work hard with my EA crew again and see what we can do in 2023. Thank you to all my partners; JDM Properties, TC Performance, Kartstore.nz, Tasman Motorsports Group, DP Homes who have made this possible and gotten me to this level of my racing career.”

“We are thrilled to have Jacob back with Exclusive Autosport for a second season,” enthused Michael Duncalfe, Team Principal. “Jacob had a very positive rookie season in USF2000 and progressed all season long competing for top-five finishes in the last half of the season. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him through the off-season and building on the strong foundation we have. I am confident Jacob will make an immediate impact on track at the start of the 2023 season. I look forward to the season ahead.”

Exclusive Autosport has an extensive off-season testing program in place for F1600, USF Juniors, USF2000, and Indy Pro 2000 leading into the 2023 Road to Indy season.
