Sharp in FIA F3 testing action

Straight from wining the 2024 GB3 Championship title, Kiwi driver Louis Sharp is already involved in readying for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship with a two-day test at the Jerez circuit in Spain.

On the first day of testing Sharp recorded the 11th fastest time in the morning and the 26th in the afternoon session.

There are 12 drivers who drove during the 2024 season taking part in post-season testing at Jerez, with 18 rookies getting their first outing in FIA F3 machinery.

The Jerez test will be the penultimate event in which the current generation of F3 car is used. Barcelona post-season testing will bring the curtain down on the F3 2019 car, ahead of the introduction of the F3 2025 machine next season.

Running will resume for the second and final day of testing in Jerez at 09:00 local time.
