Oracle Red Bull Racing’s replacement driver, Kiwi Liam Lawson, is quite focused on the task ahead for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix at the Madring in Madrid. Lawson qualified eighth fastest with teammate Max Verstappen third quickest behind pole-sitter Lando Norris (McLaren) and Mercedes Kimi Antonelli.
“Try and move forward for sure,” commented Lawson about tomorrow’s objective. “It is going to be very tough as overtaking is almost impossible. Tyres were quite difficult yesterday so that makes it even more challenging.”
