New livery for Lawson and Hadjar in Vegas

It’s the third visit to the casino city of Las Vegas for the Formula One circus. It’s the second time for Visa Cash App Racing Bull’s driver Liam Lawson who finished outside the points in 2024 in 16th position, having replaced Daniel Riccardo.

“I’m really excited for Vegas,” commented Lawson. “It’s a unique race as it’s very cold, which makes it challenging for us to get the tyres in the working window. The conditions are different to what we usually work with, so it makes for a super interesting race.

“The track layout has long straights, forcing us to run low on downforce, but making the corners tricky. As a street circuit, the start is often very slippery too, feeling noticeably different to recent tracks we’ve been to which have high grip. It’s going to be a tough race, but I’m really looking forward to kicking off the final triple header.”

Both Racing Bulls of Lawson and Isack Hadjar will display a new Holographic special livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, inspired by the newest addition to the Cash App Visa Card line up – the Holo Card; designed to capture the bold, high-energy spirit and vibrant nightlife aesthetic of Las Vegas, with an iridescent finish that brings holographic patterns to life on a grand scale.

“It has a high average speed due to several long straights, requiring downforce and drag settings at the lower end of our selection,” commented Tim Goss, Racing Bulls Chief Technical Manager. “Grip levels are further compromised by the low ambient temperatures, making it challenging to get the tyres into the correct operating range.

“On top of this, the bumpy nature of the street circuit will mean our Engineers have to be careful to balance the needs of optimising our aerodynamic platform and the car’s ability to manage the terrain. This is the first of a triple-header as we head into the defining stages of the season. We are high on confidence after the double points finish in Brazil, but don’t under-estimate a challenge end at three very different tracks. We have prepared well and will give it our best.”
