While the focus for Formula One fans will be on the top three vying for the World F1 Driver’s title, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar will be defending their team’s sixth place on the Constructors’ hampionship points table against Aston Martin.
“After a long hard season we approach the finale of the 2025 F1 calendar at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi,” said Tim Goss, VCARB Chief Technical Officer. “All eyes will be on the three-way fight for the Drivers’ Championship which is now on a knife-edge. But also, and not to be missed, is an intense battle in the Constructors’ Championship between us and Aston Martin Racing.
“The circuit is one of the newest and most spectacular of the season, and runs as a day-night race, starting in the late afternoon and finishing under flood lights. It consists of a good blend of long straights, low speed, medium speed and high-speed corners, meaning that to be successful a car has to have strengths in all areas.
“We now know the VCARB 02 really well and just how to get the most out of it almost anywhere, and after showing strong performances at the two opposite extremes of Las Vegas and Qatar we have a good knowledge base to dial in a setup that works well at Yas Marina.
“We hope Max (Verstappen) and our sister team maintain the momentum to achieve their ambitions, but we will put aside any distractions and remain fully focused on our own mission to get the job done and close out sixth place in the Constructors’ for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls.”

“I’m very excited to finish off the season in Abu Dhabi, after a strong finish in the points at the weekend,” commented Lawson. “It’s a hugely enjoyable track which I raced at for the first time in Formula One back in 2021. We had strong race pace in Qatar, which we hope to take into the final race as we continue our fight for P6 in the Constructors’.“
