At least Lego got it right!

Ford fans will no doubt be anticipating the release of the latest Lego kit, the 1967 Ford Mustang GT which will be released today (1 March 2019).  It’s a great looking model which actually looks like a Mustang.  At $299 purchased from Lego stores and Lego’s online shop, it makes the Mustang more affordable for all.

This Ford Mustang Fastback Lego is hugely detailed thanks to a total 1,470 pieces in the kit.  It’s big too, measuring in at 10 centimetres high, 34 centimetres long and 14 centimetres wide.

Finished in dark blue with the requisite white racing stripes, it comes with a hood scoop and Mustang badge for the grille. It comes with five-spoke wheels and you can also lift up the rear axle for a raked, race-ready appearance, if desired.

The doors can be opened, the roof panel removed to reveal a detailed interior with classic seats, radio, working steering and a mid-console gearshift.

Lift the front bonnet to reveal a detailed big block 390 cubic inch (6.4-litre) V8 engine with battery, hoses and air filter detailing.

No doubt fans will be lining up on Friday.  For me, I prefer something European! Ci sentiamo presto
