‘Fight’ sees change in ROK Cup Superfinal venue

The venue for next weekend’s ROK Cup Superfinal (14-17 OCt) has been changed due to the circumstances surrounding a fight that took place involving both the owner of the South Garda circuit and his son.

It has been decided by the Sporting Federal court that due to reasons of force majeure, the race will take place on the closest circuit to South Garda Karting (the original venue), which is the new Franciacorta Karting Track.

This move is likely to benefit the two Kiwi kartsport drivers that will compete over the weekend as the competitors have not previously driven there.

The change in venue also sees the cancellation of this weekend’s ROK Cup Trophy meeting, the traditional competition before the Superfinal.

The timetable of the event will be the same, Finals will be on Saturday 17th of October. The track will be open for free practices from Monday the 12th of October.
