In 2015 this young, quietly spoken young Kiwi came to us in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and went about his work building a career. We saw him come of age in 2017 when he dominated the last few rounds of Carrera Cup and then took the title in style in ’18.
His first year of Supercup had its challenges but we all knew he was good enough – so just reward tonight when Jaxon Evans dominated the opening Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup round in Austria. Such a fantastic result and a peerless drive from pole. Much as it was with Matt Campbell before him, it’s another incredible result for a kid who deserves it and an incredible family and team behind him. (See Lights to flag victory for Jaxon Evans)
It’s so satisfying to see these kids going on and succeeding after coming through the ranks here, and being a small part of telling their story and doing what we could do help their journey along the way.
Worth noting that Jordan Love blazed from 18th to 12th on his debut which is a great result.
Our boys doing the Porsche junior system in Australia, and everyone involved in it, proud.
