Non-stop, Bamber’s hectic schedule

Earl Bamber has one hectic calendar schedule.

 

If we look at part of his 2018 season, since the 24 Hours of Le Mans which finished on the 17 June 2018, he has been racing or testing at 11 different locations around the world in the space of 14 weeks!

17 June – 24 Hours of Le Mans

1 July – Six Hours of the Glen – IMSA SportsCar Championship – Watkins Glen

8 July – IMSA – Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

21 July – IMSA – Lime Rock Park, Connecticut

29 July – 24 Hours of Spa – Belgium

5 August – IMSA – Road America, Wisconsin

19 August – IMSA – Virginia International Raceway

26 August – Suzuka 10 Hour – Japan

5 September – Pirtek Endurao Cup testing – Queensland

9 September – IMSA – Laguna Seca, California

16 September – Pirtek Enduro Cup – Sandown Raceway, Victoria

 

In 2014 I caught up with him in Monaco when he was competing the Porsche Supercup and asked him where home was?  His answer was the next hotel.

 

As they say, it is a young man’s game!
