Kiwi Callum Hedge finished twice on the podium in Round 2 of the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship, at Hidden Valley Raceway near Darwin. A fourth and two second places sees Hedge third overall on the points table.
Fellow Kiwis Fabian Coulthard and Chris Pither had mixed results with the former finishing eighth, sixth and seventh while the latter recorded a 10th, 24th and 15th placings.
Dale Wood took a commanding round win after taking pole and race one on Saturday, Wood won both of Sunday’s races to claim his fourth career round victory – and his second straight in Darwin.
After a long break since the opening round of the championship at the Australian Grand Prix in March, the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship gets busy from here on in, with the next event in just three weeks on the streets of Townsville.
