Pole and Class podium for Madeline Stewart at Sebring

The Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama’s third season of racing kicked off off at Sebring International Raceway with two races on Friday. Both Cayman GT4 Clubsports and GT3 Cups Cars took to the track for their own respective 35 minute + 1 lap race under the Florida sunshine.

In the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America GT3 Cup class, Kiwi Madeline Stewart was fastest qualifier with a lap time of 2:05.509. With the winning of the WeatherTech Pole Position Award, Stewart becomes the second female in North American One Make Series to win the overall pole position, behind fellow series competitor Ashley Freiberg.

Finishing victorious in the 992 GT3 Cup Pro/Am class and finishing the race in P1 Overall was Zachery Vanier. In 2nd place for the 992 GT3 Cup Pro/Am class was the defending Cayman Champion Aidan Kenny who took P4 Overall. Rounding out the 992 GT3 Cup Pro/Am class was the WeatherTech Pole Position Award Winner Madeline Stewart who finished P5 Overall.
