Kiwi driver Richie Stanaway along with team mates Fernando Rees and Jonathon Adam have finished third at the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in the LMGTE Pro class driving the #97 Aston Martin. The team finished one lap down on class winners Davide Rigon and Sam Bird in the Ferrari 488 GTE with the Ford GT of Mario Granchitti, Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell third.
The second round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship saw the overall win go to the No.8 Audi R18 driven by Oliver Jarvis along with Lucas Di Grassi and Loic Duval.
Neel Jani, Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb secured second place despite technical problems for much of the race. The No.2 Porsche trio have extended their championship points lead.
Third overall went to Rebellion Racing as they claim third and fourth.
Kiwi driver Brendon Hartley in the No 1 Porsche Hybrid experienced front gearbox issues halfway through the race and finshed down the order eighth in class and 27th overall, 48 laps behind the No 8 Audi.
