The Racer Products South Island Endurance Series is back in action this Saturday at the Euromarque Motorsport Park in Christchurch, with the second of three rounds taking place.

While the Three-Hour field is smaller than usual this season, fans will see another Class 1 Audi GT3 join the field with a father and son duo at the wheel. Luke and Seb Manson are no strangers to endurance racing and will line up against the first-round winners, Steve Brooks and Bill Riding (Audi GT3 Evo) and the Lamborghini GT3 Evo of Glen Brazier/Andrew Waite.

The Manson’s will also compete together in the One-Hour Class 2 & 3 race in a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car. Hugh Gardiner (Porsche 991.2 MR), winner of the first-round heads into the race as favourite although Adam Julian (Audi R8) and Jordan Michels (MARC Mustang) will be keen to get their first win of the series

Thirty-three cars are entered into the One-Hour Class 4 & 5 race. The opening round proved to be a battle of the TCR cars with Warren Black (Audi RS3 LMS TCR) taking his first win ahead of Pel Arnott (Hyundai i30N TCR) and current NZ Formula Ford champion Blake Knowles (Hyundai i30N TCR). Dylan Petch (Hyundai i30N TCR) joins the series and will be looking to stand on the podium.

The battle for Class 5 honours at the opening round at Teretonga Park proved a fight between Honda Civics and is set to continue between Chris Wall, Donovan Isted, Jordan Rae, Rhys Turner and James Mitchell.

Qualifying sessions get underway from 9am with the One-Hour Class 4 & 5 race starting at 10:20am, the One-Hour Class 2 & 3 race at 11:30am and the Three-Hour race at 1:30pm.
