Glen Smith, John DeVeth and Damon Leitch (McLaren 650 S GT3) have won the 2024 Three-Hour North Island Endurance Series overall title after the final round was held on Saturday (15 June) at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park. While finishing equal on points with Luke Manson/James Penrose (Audi R8 LMS Evo2 GT3), they take the overall win having qualified better on average throughout the three-round season with a 2/1/3 result vs 3/5/2 of the Manson/Penrose car (as per article 2.3(2) in the regulations).

First home in Saturday’s three-hour race was the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Glen Brazier/Andrew Waite who finished fourth overall behind Sam Fillmore (Audi R8 LMS Evo2 GT3) in third.
Steve Brooks/Bill Riding (Audi R8 LMS Evo2 GT3) won the Three-Hour AM-AM trophy while Smith/de Veth/Leitch won Class 1, Simon Gilberston/John McIntyre (Porsche 991 I MR) Class 2, James Sax (Mercedes-Benz AMG GT4) Class 3, L.Zeltwanger/N.Carpenter (BMW E36 318 Compact) Class 4 and Thomas Mallard/Mark Mallard (Toyota 86) Class 5.

Joel Giddy (Mercedes-Benz AMG GT2) won the One-Hour overall title after his second victory of the three round series. Paul Southam (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup) finished runner up with John Midgley (Ford Falcon FG V8ST) third.

The Class 2 title also went to Giddy while David Cranna (McLaren 570 S GT4) won Class 3, Pel Arnott (Hyundai i30N TCR) Class 4 and Chris Wall (Honda Civic EK) Class 5.)
