Fifty-seven confirmed entries will take to the gravel roads around Hokitika and Greymouth as the 2016 Stadium Finance/REPCO Rally gets underway on Saturday 19 March. The first round of the 2016 Mainland Rally Championship has over $7,000 of prizes up for grabs for competitors across six different classes. Organisers believe that this is now the richest rally run in recent years.

The overall winner will be in line for a cash prize supplied by Stadium Finance along with equipment supplied by REPCO and the Leo Leonard Motors trophy.

Dunlop along with motorsport supporter Peter Sturgen have provided tyres for four of the competition class winners. REPCO will also supply prizes for class winners along with Penrite oils for runner up in each class.

Third place getters will take home prizes supplied by CRC.

Stadium Finance will also provide a ‘Lucky finisher’ cash prize to a competitor as determined by the Westland committee

Important for the on-going success of the rally and the Westland Car Club is the fantastic support from NAVMAN, Penny Homes, Coast Toyota, MBD contracting and Dutchies Autoshop.

The car club also thanks and supports the St John Ambulance service for the ongoing assistance in ensuring event safety.

The Rally starts at REPCO Greymouth at 8.00am Saturday 19th and will finish at the Monk Family’s Paroa Hotel after 120 plus Km of special stage competition for the old fashioned and infamous prize giving after match function.
