The Otago Sports Car Club has resurrected the popular Lawrence Clubman’s Rally, which will be held on Saturday, November 21.
The five-stage event will offer crews 79 kilometres of competitive driving on fast, public roads, including Corkscrew Road and Roberts Road.
The roads to be used are in great condition, and have all been used in previous Lawrence Rally’s as well as the 2014 Otago Rally.
Entries will open shortly and be limited to just 50 cars.
“The event came about as a way to provide something back to the Lawrence community and to incorporate fundraising activities for local groups,” OSCC President, Daniel Cresswell, said.
“The Lawrence Clubman’s Rally will be an excellent end of year and end of season event.
“The rally will use the RallySafe system for event timing and control,” Oakley added.
