This week on Motorsport on 83, screening 8 November 2026 – Its Circuit Boats Racing from Australia, Toyotas from Taupo, Sprintcars from Perth and Hayden Paddon in action in Belgium.
First up it’s the mega horsepower Australian Circuit boats, spectacular on water action from Round 4 of the National Drivers Championship held at Windsor in New South Wales. These boats really are something to see, supercharged drag racing engines in small 15-foot boats.
Then it’s the final round of the GR86 Toyota championship from Taupo. The championship was decided at Round 4 at Manfeild, but there is still a lot of points and prestige up for grabs on the twisty Taupo Motorsport Park.
Next, we travel to the Perth Motoplex for more highspeed Sprintcar action from “The Krikke Boys shootout.”
This is an annual race held to commemorate two prominent Perth based Sprintcar racing brothers who were tragically killed in a road accident a few years back. This event always brings all the hometown heroes and the best of Australia out to play.
Finally, its Roundd 7 of the Belgium Rally Championship with our own Hayden Paddon competing in this all tarmac event. The rally was dominated by the weather with baking heat and sudden thunderstorms, one of which caught Hayden out.
His amazing fight back is part of the story of this the Rally of Ypres.
