After the short summer break, the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth returns to the track at Imola, Italy, for the fifth of seven rounds.

A win, a third and an eighth placing at the last round at the Mugello circuit has allowed Kiwi driver Marcus Armstrong (Prema Power Team) to increase his advantage over his closest challenger, the Italian Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech): 157 points to 145 (before Mugello the gap was a single point). Third with 124 points is the Dutchman Job Van Uitert (Jenzer Motorsport).

Imola is a racing circuit full of history and on which all drivers love to compete, thanks to its alternating fast bends and technical sections. The teams arrive at the event very well prepared, following the season’s second official testing day that took place here on 30 August.
