Cassidy qualifies 12th in Super Formula Series

Kiwi driver Nick Cassidy has qualified 12th fastest for the Super Formula Series round at the Twin Ting Motegi in Japan this weekend.

Alex Palou captured pole for the second race in a row with a 1:31.442 new course record. Cassidy’s Super GT Series team mate Ryo Hirakawa came in P2, and Nirei Fukuzumi in third.

Tomorrow’s 250 km race (52 laps) will be streamed worldwide outside of Japan on both motorsport.tv and on YouTube on the letsgoracing channel.
