Douglas holds fourth in USF Pro 2000 series

Kiwi driver Jacob Douglas holds fourth overall after the Continental Tire Grand Prix of Louisiana, the second weekend of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire series.

Douglas finished fourth in all three races while Max Garcia who continues to hold an edge in the battle for a scholarship to move up next year to INDY NXT.

“Round 2 at New Orleans done and dusted,” commented Douglas.  “We came away with a P4 in all three races, and fastest lap in race 3.

“We had great pace all weekend, so a bit disappointed to be leaving empty handed.  Some mistakes on my end cost us some better results, so I’ll make sure I learn from where I went wrong and come back stronger for round 3 at IMS.

“The Pabst Racing car was on rails all weekend, so a massive thanks to the whole crew for all the effort they put in at the track and behind the scenes to make sure we are as fast as possible.”

The USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire season will continue with another tripleheader event, this time in conjunction with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, at the Indianapolis Grand Prix road course 6-8 May 2025.
