Douglas positive heading to USF2000 round at Sebring this weekend

Sebring International Circuit in Florida hosts Rounds three and four of the 2023 USF2000 Series Presented by Cooper Tires this weekend with Kiwi Jacob Douglas looking to improve after an average first two rounds at St Petersburg Street Circuit at the beginning of the month.

“Heading into Sebring this weekend I’m feeling confident,” commented Douglas.  It’s a track we know and have been fast at and we know the areas to work on as well.  We want to go out there and do our best and come away with some solid results.”

The last time the USF2000 Series raced at the circuit was back in 2013 although the 3.74 mile road course hosted the traditional Spring Training pre-season test in February this year.

Douglas has raced at the circuit, having competed and won the 2023 YACademy Winter Series earlier this year with the first round at Sebring and the second at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“Sebring is a great track for racing with lots of over-taking opportunities.  It is a real mix of high and low speed corners so provides some good racing.”

The 20-car USF2000 field will take to the track for the first time on Saturday morning with a pair of races on Saturday and Sunday.
