Scuderia Toro Rosso has confirmed that Brendon Hartley will retain his seat for the Mexican Grand Prix this coming weekend. He will take over from Daniil Kvyat with Pierre Gasly coming back into the squad.

Hartley made his F1 debut at the weekend in the US F1 Grand Prix returning a solid performance for the team in finishing 13th overall.

Gasly had competed with the team in Malaysia and Japan but missed Austin (USF1GP) in order to contest the Super Formula finale in Japan, which unfortunately was cancelled due to a typhoon hitting the country.
