Podcast Saturday: Brian Redman on the Tasman Series, F1, Sportscar racing and remembering Sir Stirling Moss

Retired British racing driver Brian Redman is remembered mainly for his successes driving sportscars which included winning the he 1970 Targa Florio with a Porsche 908 and the 12 Hours of Sebring twice, in 1975 with a BMW Coupé, in 1978 with a Porsche 935 and the Spa-Francorchamps 1000km race 4 times (1968–1970, 1972).

He also competed in Formula One between 1967 and 1974 driving for Lola, Cooper, Frank Williams, Team Surtees, McLaren, BRM and shadow.

Redman is best mates with the father of Speedcity Broadcast and Talkmotorsport’s Jonathan Green, who recently interviewed him about his career, including racing in New Zealand in the summer of 1976. He starts off asking about his memories of Sir Stirling Moss….
