Kiwi Louis Sharp and the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA makes the trip to the iconic, 2.4-mile Grand Prix layout for the final three races of another action-packed season.
Although the Drivers’ title is all but sewn up by Hitech GP’s Alex Dunne, it remains to be seen who will triumph in an ‘all-F1 Academy’ battle for the Rookie Cup honours, with McLaren’s Ugo Ugochukwu and Mercedes-AMG’s Daniel Guinchard set to go toe-to-toe for the coveted crown.
“I just love the Brands Hatch GP circuit – they’ve saved the best one to last,” commented Sharp! “We’ll have lots of laps, too, with testing on Wednesday, Free Practice on Friday, then qualifying and first race on Saturday before the final two races of what’s been a great learning season with Carlin in British F4 on Sunday. Really looking forward to driving the Rodin F4 racer on such a great track. Can’t wait…
“Securing third place is still possible which would be a fantastic achievement when you consider that I wasn’t able to take part in the opening meeting due to my age, meaning everyone else got a three race head-start on me.
“The only way to approach the finale is to go there and fight hard for victories. The full Grand Prix circuit is one I really like and where I went well in testing, so fingers crossed we can end on another high.”
Sharp’s Carlin team will be battling Hitech to settle their battle for the Competitors Cup, meaning there is plenty yet to be decided across the triple header.
