Tenth for Armstrong at Nurburgring

Marcus Armstrong has finished tenth in the first race of the latest ADAC Formula 4 Championship at the Nurburgring. Having qualified 13th earlier in the day the Kiwi driver was able to make his way through the field into the top ten.

It was a lights-to-flag victory for pole-sitter Lirim Zendeli (17, Germany, ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg eV) who won the 13th ADAC Formula 4 race of the season.

Armstrong’s team mate Enzo Fittipaldi (16, Brazil, Prema Powerteam), the grandson of two-time Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi, crossed the line in eighth place winning the Rookie classification on his ADAC Formula 4 debut. Joining him on the Rookie podium were Julian Hanses (19, Germany, US Racing) and Armstrong.

Drivers will face two races on Sunday.
