Three wins for Alex Crosbie at Taupo

Current national Formula Ford title holder, Alex Crosbie from Southland, has extended his lead in the 2023 NAPA Auto Parts NZ Formula Ford Championship at Taupo on Saturday.  Three wins from three races was the result of a duel with pole sitter Sebastian Manson who finished second in in each race.

While Crosbie held a one-point lead over Grant after the opening round last weekend at the NZ Grand Prix meeting, the latter has struggled in Saturday’s racing with a third and two fourth placings.

While Crosbie and Manson fought for much of the three races, a mid-pack battle took place between Blake Knowles, Daniel Brown, Caleb Byers, Will Neale, Blake Daowdall, Mason Potter, Hayden Bakkerus and Dylan Petch.

Drivers face two more races on Sunday.
