Tough Indy outing for McElrea, Frazer and Vodanovich

It was a tough weekend for three Kiwi drivers competing in the USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 Seres’ on the Indianaplois Motor Speedway Road course over the weekend.

Hunter McElrea slipped to fifth overall in the Indy Pro 2000 Series after finishing in tenth, eighth and seventh.

In the USF2000 Series, Bill Frazer (main picture) sits 10th on the leader board after finishing in 12th, 16th and 12th. Peter Vodanovich is 22nd after finishing 19th, 15th and 16th.

Both Series’ have their first oval race of the season 27-28 May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as part of the Indianapolis 500 support races.
