A new chapter of Australian motorsport history will be written this weekend, with new Kings of the Mountain to be crowned at the Repco Bathurst 1000.
This Sunday’s race will be the 65th running of the Great Race, with the country’s most grueling and prestigious race beginning at 11:45 a.m. AEDT.
Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood enter the week as not only the reigning Bathurst 1000 winners, but also the most recent winners on the Repco Supercars Championship calendar.
Perth-born Kostecki and Adelaide-native Hazelwood kicked off the 2025 enduros with a win in the 500-kilometre race at The Bend Motorsport Park last month, making them the form pairing heading into this weekend’s race.

With both drivers defecting from Erebus Motorsport to Dick Johnson Racing this year, a win on Sunday would make the duo the first driver pairing ever to win back-to-back Bathurst 1000s for different teams.
On-track action at the Repco Bathurst 1000 begins Thursday with practice, followed by Boost Mobile Qualifying on Friday, the iconic Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout on Saturday, and the Great Race on Sunday.
