Here’s an interesting article on featuring the 1994 Bathurst-winner, the #17 Ford Falcon EB raced to victory by Dick Johnson and John Bowe.  The picture above is a result of an altercation with the tyre barriers at Phillip Island in 1996 with John Bowe at the wheel.  Unfortunately after the car was stripped of its valuable and usuable components the damaged shell was sent to the crusher!  Oops!
