SCT Motorsport confirms Jaxon Evans for 2025

SCT Motorsport will continue with an unchanged driver line up confirming Jaxon Evans as part of the team for the 2025 Supercars season.

Evans has well and truly shown his ability behind the wheel of a Supercar throughout his rookie season and SCT Motorsport are excited to head into 2025 with high expectations.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Australia and France Championship winner’s first full-time season in Supercars has laid a strong foundation to build upon.

A standout performance for the Kiwi was at his home round at Taupo, where in his first wet race in a Supercar he came through from 17th on the grid to finish in 10th.

The tricky conditions caught out drivers who were vastly more experienced in a Supercar, but this showed his potential early in the season where he was able to nab his first top ten result.

Climbing through the order has been somewhat of a specialty from Evans who has made up a cumulative total of 58 positions in the last 22 races.

The quick Kiwi became part of the SCT Motorsport program at the start of 2024, taking over the full-time driving duties of the SCT Logistics Supercar after two years as a co-driver.

The category is one of the toughest and certainly most competitive in Touring Car racing and Evans has shown his adaptability throughout 2024.

Evans, in the Brad Jones Racing run SCT Motorsport Camaro, will be in action at the final round of the Championship in Adelaide this coming weekend.

His first time on the streets of the South Australian capital is a formidable challenge but the 28-year-old is ready and revving to get the racing underway.

Supercars will be on track from Thursday (November 14th) for Practice 1 at 15:34 ACDT (local time).
