A standout performance for the Kiwi was at his home round at Taupo, where in his first wet race in a Supercar he came through from 17th on the grid to finish in 10th.
The tricky conditions caught out drivers who were vastly more experienced in a Supercar, but this showed his potential early in the season where he was able to nab his first top ten result.

The quick Kiwi became part of the SCT Motorsport program at the start of 2024, taking over the full-time driving duties of the SCT Logistics Supercar after two years as a co-driver.
The category is one of the toughest and certainly most competitive in Touring Car racing and Evans has shown his adaptability throughout 2024.
Evans, in the Brad Jones Racing run SCT Motorsport Camaro, will be in action at the final round of the Championship in Adelaide this coming weekend.
His first time on the streets of the South Australian capital is a formidable challenge but the 28-year-old is ready and revving to get the racing underway.
Supercars will be on track from Thursday (November 14th) for Practice 1 at 15:34 ACDT (local time).
