The 16th round of the 2025 FIA F1 Championship takes place with the Italian Grand Prix at the historic Autodromo Nazionale Monza within the Parco di Monza just outside Milan.
“It’s very exciting to be part of the second home race for the team this year, bouncing off a huge weekend for the team with Isack (Hadjar) on the podium,” commented Lawson. “The car has been very fast recently, which is really positive, so I’m excited to take that momentum forwards. Monza is a track which we’ve all raced on growing up. It has a lot of history, so it’s going to be great to return.”
The track is known for its high speed nature, and whilst it has undergone many changes over the years to limit excessive speeds into some of the corners, it still retains its place as one of the fastest venues on the calendar.

“Not surprisingly, straight line speed, power unit performance and aerodynamic efficiency are important,” said Tim Goss, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team Chief Technical Officer. “But on top of this, the car needs to deliver through the low speed chicanes and over the kerbs to get the best exit onto the straights. Getting these compromises right is going to be vital.
“We take confidence that the car worked really well in the Netherlands (Dutch GP), but we are under no illusions that we have a very different set of challenges ahead of us. We are up for it though, and will be fully focussed on doing our best getting everything right across all three days.”
The 15-points gained by Hadjar’s podium at Zandvoort last weekend puts the team seventh overall in the Constructor’s Championship just two-points behind Aston Martin and nine-points ahead of Sauber.
