Having won the opening round of the 2020 Super GT Series earlier in July, the #37 KeePer TOM’S Toyota Supra pairing of Nick Cassidy and Ryo Hirakawa have finished fourth at the second round at Fuji Speedway.
The #17 KEIHIN NSX-GT (Koudai Tsukakoshi/Bertrand Baguette) starting from second position on the front row of the grid took the lead and continued to run ahead of the pack to win the race.
Cassidy and Hirakawa qualified tenth and ran with the maximum 42kg of ‘success’ ballast.
They now drop to second overall, two-points behind the #36 TOM’S GR Supra of Yuhi Sekiguchi/Sacha Fenestraz who finished second.
The series heads to the third round at Suzuka 22-23 August.
