Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy title for Simon Evans

Kiwi driver Simon Evans has won the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy title after a close seven-race schedule at the Tempelhof Airport circuit in Berlin, Germany.

“Unreal to win the championship in the last race by one point,” exclaimed Evans. “Mega pace all week and today I just did what I needed to do.”

Evans beat inaugural champion and Brazilian Stock Car driver Sergio Jimenez.

The production based support category for Formula E has been axed after two seasons, reportedly due to the economic fallout of the coronavirus.
