Interest is already high for the 2021 South Island Endurance Series that gets underway in September. This season will see a breaking in tradition with the opening round taking place in Christchurch. Teretonga Park in Invercargill, for many years, has seen the start of either a three or four round format.

The Mike Pero Motorsport Park in Ruapuna, Christchurch, hosts the first of four rounds on Saturday 4 September. This will be followed by Teretonga a fortnight later (18 September).

Two weeks later will see the third round at Highlands Motorsport Park, Cromwell (2 October) with the final fourth round in Timaru, 16 October.

The North Island Endurance Racing Drivers Club will this year host the New Zealand Endurance Championship with a one-race, winner takes all format, anticipated to be in November.

The South Island Endurance Racing Drivers Club (SIERDC) hold their annual AGM 4 February, leading into the Skope Classic weekend in Christchurch, where the 2021 dates are expected to be confirmed.
