Dunlop DFH tyre chosen to continue as the dry tyre for tyre-restricted kartsport classes

KartSport New Zealand is pleased to announce that the Dunlop DFH tyre has been chosen to continue as the dry tyre for tyre-restricted classes for the next contract period at the current pricing (1-1-20 to 31-12-22 inclusive).

KartSport New Zealand National President Graeme Moore advised following an extensive review the incumbent Dunlop DFH under the Lascom Motorsport distribution agreement has been re-contracted for a second three-year term.

“KartSport New Zealand is delighted that Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres (NZ) and Lascom Motorsport will be building on their investment in the sport with the proven Dunlop DFH tyre. Lascom and Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres (NZ) have significantly enhanced our ASN’s support levels and committed to maintaining the current price which will see no increase in tyres costs for what will now total six years since 2017”

Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres (NZ) are delighted to have committed to increased support for KartSport as they continue to invest in the New Zealand market and likewise the distribution agent Brian Waldmeyer was equally positive:

“The relationship and promotional partnership we have enjoyed with KartSport is a valued part of our vision to support the national body 100% exclusively,” Waldmeyer said.

“KartSport is an outstanding business partner, not just in terms of opening doors to significant business opportunities but also investing so wholeheartedly in building a future for our aspiring karters, clubbies and future Supercar and F1 drivers!”

Dunlop DFH tyres are manufactured by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Japan, imported into New Zealand and bulk warehoused in both Islands by Goodyear and Dunlop Tyres (NZ) and distributed exclusively via Lascom Motorsport.

KartSport New Zealand would like to sincerely thank the organisations that submitted tyres for evaluation.
