Punters will be looking forward to “more of the same” at Round Two of the Auckland Motorcycle Club Summer Series, this weekend at Hampton Downs.
Healthy grids and close, entertaining racing were the hallmark of Round One, and there is no reason to expect anything less when the riders take to the 2.7 Km National circuit on Sunday morning.
Included will be the second round of the Carl Cox Motorsport Hyosung and Ninja Cup, which broke new ground this season by running concurrent Cup titles for both the 250 Hyosung’s, and the new EX400 Kawasaki’s.
Complementing the Senior, Intermediate and Junior categories will be Post Classic and sidecars; along with the Clubmans class, for novice racers.
It’s a busy pre Xmas race schedule – with the Motul 6-Hr to be held at Hampton Downs the following Sunday (18/11), and then the final of the AMCC Club Series two weeks later.
Entry on Sunday is $15 for adults, and Under-12 are free.
Practice/qualifying starts at 09:00, and racing gets under way at 11:00.
