Porsche Endurance Trophy New Zealand returns for 2025/26 Season with exciting new driver additions

Porsche Motorsport New Zealand is proud to announce the return of the Porsche Endurance Trophy New Zealand for the 2025/2026 season, marking the third year of the prestigious one-make endurance racing series. Set to begin on 31st October 2025, the series will once again run as part of the Summerset GT New Zealand Championship, bringing together top-tier GT racing talent from across New Zealand.

This season promises to be the most competitive yet, with an expanded grid featuring the latest Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Cars, previous generation 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 Cup Cars, and the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for the GT4 Class. The Trophy will be contested across five rounds and fifteen races, culminating in a spectacular finale at the Australian Supercars inaugural event at Ruapuna, Christchurch in April 2026.

Rick Armstrong – 2024/25 Porsche Endurance Trophy New Zealand GT3 class Champion

Returning Endurance Trophy champions Sam Fillmore and Rick Armstrong are set to battle it out once again, joined by a growing roster of teams including International Motorsport, Action Motorsport, and Mackenzie Motorsport, all expanding their fleets in pursuit of the coveted title.

Luke Manson and Paul Kelly come into the series after a solid South Island Endurance campaign. New additions to the grid for 2025/26 include Andy Childe, Former GT4 Champion Nigel Cromie and Porsche young gun Regan Scoullar.

“The growth of the Porsche Endurance Trophy New Zealand has been impressive,” commented Nathan Pilcher, Porsche Motorsport Coordinator. “With more cars, more teams, and competitors joining the grid, we’re expecting some of the most exciting racing yet. The support from Porsche Motorsport continues to grow, ensuring our teams have everything they need to compete at the highest level.”

The series continues to offer two distinct classes – GT3 Cup and GT4 – with trophies awarded in each category. The overall winner will receive a Porsche Motorsport-recognised Trophy and an exclusive invitation to the Porsche “Night of Champions” in Weissach, Germany.
