The second meeting of the season at Teretonga Park near Invercargill takes place this Saturday, 7 October.
The meeting, presented by Downer, will feature the Noel McIntyre Drainage Clubmans Saloons, Sports and Racing Cars plus Pro 7 Saloons.
The Clubmans Saloon field will feature Invercargill driver Liam MacDonald in his Ford Falcon in a shakedown before the young Southlander sets off to defend his Class 2 National Championship title in the BNT V8’s this summer. Up against him will be Bradley Dawson in his late uncle Colin Dawson’s Chev Camaro and Adam Cullen of Dunedin in a Nissan GTR.
The Pro 7 Saloon field includes current NZ3 Toby Marsh of Christchurch while the Sports & Racing Car races will have a small but well matched field.
The action starts at 9.30am on Saturday with racing from 11.30am. Admission is just $10 for adults while children 14 and under are free if accompanied by an adult.
