The final round of the 2024 Race Products South Island Endurance Series takes place on Saturday (19 October 2024) at the Timaru International Raceway, just outside of Timaru.  Three overall and separate Class titles will be decided as the three-round series comes to its conclusion.

Steve Brooks and Bill Riding (Audi R8 GT3) have been the dominant team in the Three-Hour category winning at both the opening round at Teretonga Park, Invercargill, and the second round in Christchurch at the Euromarque Motorsport Park.  However, one mistake from the pairing could see either Paul Rickerby/Graeme Brazier (Marc Mustang) or Glen Brazier/Andrew Waite (Lamborghini GT3 Evo) win the title with both pairings equal on points, just 18-points behind the leaders.

Three weeks ago, the One-Hour leaderboard got a shakeup at the second round.   Winner of the Class 2 & 3 race, Jordan Michels (MARC Mustang), took over the lead of both overall and Class 2 (GT Type) while Pel Arnott (Hyundai I30N TCR) won the Class 4 & 5 race, moving to the top of the leaderboard.

Michels needs to stay ahead of John Goodacre (Pace Inovations IRC GT) and Steve Brooks/Bill Riding (Porsche GT3 Cup 992) in order to win the Class 2 & 3 One-Hour title while Arnot needs to stay ahead of Round 1 winner Warren Black (Audi RS3 LMS TCR) and Blake Knowles (Hyundai I30N TCR).

There is a maximum of 95-points on the line for the winner of each race.   Qualifying gets underway this Saturday at 9:00am while the One-Hour Class 4&5 race starts at 10:20am followed by the Class 2&3 One Hour race at 11:40am.  The Three-Hour race is set to go after lunch at 1:30pm.
