Armstrong ready for next Formula 4 challenge

Building on a podium finish at the previous round, Christchurch racer Marcus Armstrong says he is ready to do battle at the coming round of the ADAC German Formula 4 Championship Austria.

His Prema team-mate Juri Vips (Estonia) leads the championship and Armstrong says he is keen to out in another competitive drive as the championship rolls into the Red Bull Ring.

The circuit, located in the Stiria region, will welcome the series with Prema currently headlining the driver and the team standings. Championship leader Vips scored a podium finish at Red Bull Ring in 2016 as a rookie..

Armstrong, New Zealand’s first inductee into the elite Ferrari Driver Academy, is contesting both the Italian and German Formula 4 Championships. He is currently ninth among the 26-strong entry in the German championship.
