Cockerton on front row for Formula Masters races at Sepang

Taylor Cockerton has carried on his recent Toyota Racing Series form and qualified on the front row for the first two races of the 2017 Formula Masters Series at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. With rain affecting qualifying, the Waikato University student finished second quickest (2:23.583) in the first session with local favourite Daniel Frost (2:23.034) taking pole.

In the second session, Cockerton went quickest with a lap time of 2:13.480 beating Frost by two-tenths of a second.
