Formula Ford dates confirmed for this summer

Dates have been confirmed for the upcoming summer of Formula Ford racing in New Zealand.

The ever-popular New Zealand Formula Ford Championship will again be contested over four rounds with two in the South and two in the North Islands.

Teretonga Park in Invercargill will host the opening national round 24-25 January 20026, followed a week later with the second round at the Super Truck meeting in Timaru.

Hampton Downs Motorsport Park in the North Waikato hosts the third round 14-15 March 2026 with the finale a fortnight later in Taupo.  Both these rounds will also double as the final two rounds of the North Island series.

The North Island Formula Ford Series will be run over five rounds starting 5 October with a one-day meeting at Hampton Downs.

The five-round South Island Formula Ford Championship gets underway in Timaru with a two-day meeting 1-2 November 2025.

Rnd 2 Euromarque Motorsport Park, Ruapuna 22 – 23 Nov 2025

Rnd 4 Timaru International Raceway, Levels 30 Jan – 1 Feb 2026
