Mitch Evans to leave Jaguar TCS Racing

It has been confirmed that Jaguar TCS Racing and Mitch Evans will part ways at the end of the 2025/2026 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season. This decision has been reached through mutual agreement between the team and Evans.

“To have been with Jaguar TCS Racing right from the beginning and achieved so much success throughout the last ten years in Formula E has been incredible,” commented Evans. “It has been a memorable experience and there have been so many highlights throughout our journey together, but the time is right to embark on a new challenge for next season.”

Evans made his debut with Jaguar TCS Racing in 2016 – the same year the team joined the all‑electric World Championship – and has achieved considerable success, with the partnership widely regarded as one of the most successful driver and team pairings in Formula E history.

In his ten years with Jaguar, he has taken an incredible 15 victories. This makes him the outright record‑holder of the most wins in the championship’s 11‑year history to date, alongside a further 21 podiums, 10 pole positions, nine fastest laps and a total of 1,064 points achieved in 132 race starts, with 11 more E‑Prix with Jaguar TCS Racing still to go this season.

“I am grateful to Jaguar for the opportunity to race for such an iconic brand and will be giving my all to win the Drivers’ World Championship this season while working closely with my team‑mate and friend António [Félix da Costa] as we battle for the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World titles,” said Evans.

The partnership between Jaguar TCS Racing and Evans has been synonymous with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Through his huge successes achieved with the team over the course of the past decade, he has cemented his place in Jaguar’s motorsport history.

“Both Mitch and the team have reached this decision together and, with 11 races still remaining in our partnership, we will be doing everything we can at Jaguar TCS Racing to ensure we continue to support Mitch’s efforts in the Drivers’ World Championship, as well as our fight for the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships,” said Ian James, Jaguar TCS racing Team Principal.
