The provisional calendar for the 2027 EROAD Australian Rally Championship (ARC) has been released with six rounds set to make up next year’s campaign.
Once again visiting all corners of the nation with events in six different states, next year’s calendar will see a repeat of the same events – providing plenty of familiarity to returning crews.
While all six events from this year will continue with the ARC in 2027, there has been a change in dates for half of the calendar as the revamped schedule gives teams, drivers and fans the opportunity to experience all forms of conditions.
Following a hugely successful maiden appearance as the season opener this year, Rally Queensland retains its place as the first round for next year and will kick off the season with a bang.
The second round of the season will see the ARC head out west for the Forest Rally where the championship’s longest serving rally continues in its traditional slot of May – next year being the 41st time it has hosted the country’s top rally competition.
The championship will then experience its first newly shifted events with Rally Tasmania moving from August to the start of July to mark the third round of the season, before heading to Victoria in August for the second half of the season.
Serving as the fourth round, Gippsland Rally will return to its August slot where it’s traditionally run since joining the ARC as a national event back in 2022 – with the exception of this year’s move to November as the season finale.
The South Australian Adelaide Hills Rally stays as the penultimate round of the 2027 season in October, while the newest event on the ARC calendar, the Narooma Forest Rally, rounds out the year in November on the picturesque beaches of the New South Wales coastal town.
While the provisional dates and locations for 2027 have been announced, the finalised schedule and formats for the season will be locked in over the coming months.
Two more rounds remain for the 2026 season with the Adelaide Hills Rally to take place in the Mount Barker and surrounding forests on 2-4 October, while the Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally sees off the year on 20-22 November in the picturesque South East Victorian region of Gippsland.
