The driver who has led the Championship for the majority of the year, the popular veteran who has never won a title, the defending Champion and a rookie – are the final four drivers who will compete for the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship title following results at today’s Penrite Oil Sandown 500 in Melbourne.
Today’s race winner Broc Feeney, yeterday’s race winner Chaz Mostert, Feeney’s teammate and defending Champion Will Brown and South Australian rookie Kai Allen will go down as the first ever grand finalists in Supercars’ history after Feeney claimed victory in a wild second race in Melbourne today.
Second today was Anton De Pasquale, Brown was third to round out the all Chevrolet podium at Sandown.
It was Feeney’s 13th victory of 2025 and 25th all-time, taking him to 16th on the all-time win list in Supercars, just four years into his full-time career. It was also his first win since Ipswich in August.
Seven drivers entered today with a shot at the final four, but drama amidst fierce battles saw both Cam Waters and Bathurst 1000 winner Matt Payne suffer signinficant damage, ending both of their title campaigns.

Waters and Payne battled side by side at high-speed at the famous Melbourne circuit, and as a result Waters suffered a punctured tyre, while Payne suffered serious steering damage – ending their title hopes in an instant.
The 7th finalist, Thomas Randle finished 13th today, not enough to leapfrog into the top four.
This year’s Penrite Oil Sandown 500 saw 68,491 fans attend the three-day event, the second-largest crowd all-time recorded for the event.
Drivers will have just ten days to prepare for the first ever grand final event, where either Feeney, Mostert, Brown or Allen will be crowned the 2025 Repco Supercars Champion.
With Feeney winning today and Mostert 4th, Feeney will enter the event with a 20 point advantage over Mostert, while Brown will start 35 back, and Allen, a South Australian local, will be 50 points adrift from Feeney when the event begins on Thursday 27 November.
The stage is now set for bp Adelaide Grand Final where all 24 Championship drivers will be on track, alongside NASCAR wildcard Austin Cindric.
Racing will begin with a sprint on Friday 28 November, where the winner will take home a $50,000 prize, before two longer races on both Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Off track the event will feature performances by Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC.
On Sunday 30 November, the driver from the top four will lift the famous Championship trophy in front of the packed grandstands at Adelaide’s Street Circuit.
