SCT Motorsport and Jaxon Evans will part ways at the conclusion of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, bringing an end to a rewarding four-year collaboration.
“I’m extremely thankful to SCT Logistics and the Smith family for the opportunity to compete full-time in Supercars,” said Evans. “The experiences and lessons learnt along the journey are ones I’ll continue to carry forward throughout my career”
Evans first joined SCT Motorsport as a co-driver in 2022, producing some very impressive drives during the endurance season, before stepping into a full-time role in the #12 SCT Motorsport Camaro in 2024.
The Kiwi brought with him a wealth of international racing experience, along with professionalism and technical expertise, following a highly successful career in Europe that included multiple Porsche championship titles.
Over his time with the team, Evans has been a key contributor to both SCT Motorsport and the broader Brad Jones Racing organisation, playing an important role in the team’s development and continued progress.
SCT Motorsport thanked Jaxon for his commitment, efforts, and contributions over the past four years and wishes him continued success in the next phase of his career.
“Jaxon has been an incredible contributor to this team during the past three and a half years, firstly as a co-driver and then now in the primary driver role,” commented Andrew Jones SCT Logistics, Head of Motorsport Programs.
“His ability and talent in a race car are world class and combined with the way he connects with people, he has played an instrumental role in the progress that SCT Motorsport has made during his time as part of the team.
“On behalf of everyone within our group, I’d like to express our gratitude to Jaxon. We hope to see him on the Supercars grid again and genuinely wish him all the best”
Further updates regarding the team’s 2026 driver line-up will be announced in due course.
